Junkers A50 Junior
The Junkers A50 Junior was a German sports plane of the 1930's. Junkers JFM had originally expected to build 5000 of this design, but only 69 were completed and just 50 were actually sold. The A50 Junior was intended to be a privately owned airplane for use in touring and recreation; and it performed well in demonstrations of speed, range and altitude. An A50 Junior piloted by the Finnish Capt. Vaino Bremer completed a world tour in 1933 to demonstrate the aircraft's capabilities. Besides private usage, some of the A50s were used as mail carriers and as trainers, as occurred in Bolivia. The simple design and operation as well as having two seats, one for the instructor and one for the student, made this aircraft ideal for that purpose.

Junkers A50 Junior [aircraft No. 1]
History:
Built by Junkers JFM, Dessau, Germany reg. no. ? 1930 ?
LAB - not given Bolivian reg. no. 1930
- named (baptized) "Acre"
Note: Very little information is available on these three aircraft apparently purchased directly from Junkers in 1930. Most of this information comes from one or two sources; the most reliable being AviationBoliviana.Net (see link below). LAB had formed a pilot and mechanics training program in 1928 and these three A50s began service in Mar 1931, as training aircraft. Although the A50 had been designed and built as a "sportsplane", its simple design and operation lent it well to use as a trainer.
Accident 1933
- "Acre" was lost in an accident
- no other information is available.

Los K-8 llegaron a Bolivia recién en 2011,no en 1993. La pista podría ser la de Tarija.
