Aviation 101 Airbus A300 / A310
The Airbus A300 is a short to medium-range twin-engine wide-body jet airliner designed and manufactured by Airbus Industrie, a consortium of European aerospace manufacturers.
The A300 entered commercial service in May 1974 with Air France. When production ceased in July 2007 a total of 561 aircraft had been delivered.

The Airbus A310 is a smaller version of the A300 and entered service in 1983. Production ceased in 1998 after 255 aircraft had been completed.

Personal note: We flew on this aircraft three times; one was 19 Jul 1993 on flight 903, Miami - Manaus - Santa Cruz, with my wife and oldest son. It seemed luxurious after the cramped
spaces of the 727s. Then twice in 1997: Miami-Manaus-La Paz-Santa Cruz in March and Santa Cruz to Miami non-stop in April. That was my last flight with Lloyd Aereo Boliviano.
